Nadia Vella-Taranto

Hi, I’m Nadia Vella-Taranto—studio owner, teacher, talent agent, and mum. As the founder of Nadia’s Performance Studio, one of Sydney’s largest and most vibrant studios, I’ve spent over 20 years helping young performers grow in confidence, creativity, and capability. With a background in acting for stage and screen and a deep love for teaching, I created Set The Scene to make it easy for dance studio owners to bring the magic of acting into their spaces—without stress or prior experience. I’ve seen first-hand how powerful acting can be in helping children express themselves and shine, both on and off stage. This program is my way of sharing that gift with studios everywhere.

He holds an Advanced Diploma of Stage and Screen Acting from the Academy of Film Theatre and Television. As Head of Drama at Nadia’s Performance Studio, James has directed numerous plays and musicals, inspiring students with his dynamic teaching style. He’s excited to bring Set The Scene to life, sharing his love of acting with young performers around the world.
